Hispanic Heritage Book Tour - Flippin My Script - Memoir Adrian Alvarado
This Hispanic Heritage Month, I’m taking my memoir Flipping My Script on the road to celebrate Puerto Rican stories of identity, migration, and resilience. From Jersey City to Puerto Rico to Hollywood, my journey has been about flipping the narrative—and now I get to share it live with readers across Connecticut and Massachusetts.
I’ll be visiting libraries and cultural spaces to read excerpts, discuss the Puerto Rican diaspora, and connect with community through Q&A and book signings. Each stop is an opportunity to honor our shared heritage while creating space for dialogue, laughter, and reflection.
Tour Dates:
📖 Wednesday, Oct 1 – Bridgeport Public Library
🎤 Monday, Oct 6 – Hartford Public Library
🌆 Saturday, Oct 11 – Holyoke Public Library
🍷 Friday, Oct 17 – Hawk Ridge Winery, Watertown, CT (Authors Uncorked)
Whether you join me in Bridgeport, Hartford, Holyoke, or at the beautiful Hawk Ridge Winery, I promise an evening of storytelling, community, and celebration.
Books will be available for signing at each stop.
About the BookFlipping My Script is my story of growing up between Jersey City and Puerto Rico in the 1980s, facing loss, chasing dreams, and finding my way into Hollywood. It’s a story for anyone who’s ever had to rewrite their own narrative.
Let’s celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month together. See you on the tour!
