Author Tour Kicks Off in Connecticut with a Celebration of Heritage and Story
Bridgeport, CT — On Wednesday, October 1, the Bridgeport Public Library will host actor and author Adrian Alvarado for a special Hispanic Heritage Month event featuring his memoir Flipping My Script.
The evening, starting at 6:30 PM, will include selected readings, a discussion on the Puerto Rican diaspora and identity, audience Q&A, and a book signing. Patch+2Eventbrite+2
Alvarado’s memoir recounts his upbringing between Jersey City and Puerto Rico during the 1980s, navigating cultural tensions, loss, and ultimately forging a path into Hollywood. He hopes the event will resonate deeply with Bridgeport’s diverse communities and Puerto Rican families.
